Managing4Success at The Leander Library

Every business owner, manager, executive or supervisor knows that strong management is the defining cornerstone of any high performing organization. A manager is the one person who can create conditions that will determine the caliber of work, and ultimately the success for the company. An effective manager requires a set of skills that will garner the respect of the team and management peers, while understanding how to direct a team of people, set goals, communicate, coach, deal with conflict, and persuade others to follow. Research shows that successful management is derived from a core set of skills combined with a process for managing human resources.

Russ Peterson and Kevin Karschnik of iSpeak will present Managing4Success at the Leander Library. The ‘Improving Your Business Workshop’ will give participants the opportunity to improve the critical management skills of coaching, providing positive feedback, delivering discipline, team development, team motivation, dealing with conflict, and effective communication skills.
