Quality: Since 1999, iSpeak has specialized in helping professionals become clearer, more confident, and more influential communicators. Our workshops are highly interactive, led by experienced instructors, and tailored to each audience through an audience analysis process before every class.
Speed: We make training easy for L&D teams to implement. From audience analysis and instructor coordination to participant materials and shipping, our team handles the details so you don't have to.
Price: We believe exceptional communication training should also deliver exceptional value. Our pricing is transparent, and our course catalog includes published prices so buyers can understand costs before beginning the conversation.

Finding the Right Training
What should I look for in a corporate communication training provider?
Look for a training provider that combines proven communication techniques with plenty of practice, personalized feedback, and instructors who understand the corporate environment. The best programs don't just teach concepts—they give participants opportunities to apply them to the situations they face at work.
Also consider flexibility. Can the provider adapt the training to your audience, industry, and business goals? Do they offer different formats and ways to reinforce learning after the training ends? Your provider should feel less like a vendor delivering a class and more like a partner helping you solve a communication challenge.
How do I choose the right communication training for my team?
Figuring out the problem you need to solve is half the battle. Before choosing a workshop or training program, get clear about what's not working. Are technical experts losing their audience in too much detail? Are leaders struggling to gain buy-in? Are presentations failing to move decisions forward? Are managers avoiding difficult conversations?
Once you understand the problem, choosing the right training becomes much easier. You can identify who needs help, which communication skills are contributing to the challenge, and what kind of learning experience is most likely to make a difference.
And you don't have to figure it all out on your own. A good training partner should help you uncover the root of the problem before recommending a solution—not simply point you toward a course in a catalog.
What makes communication skills training effective?
Effective communication training combines instruction, practice, and feedback. Participants need practical tools they can understand and remember, but knowing what to do isn't enough. They also need opportunities to try the skills, receive useful feedback, adjust, and practice again.
The strongest programs also connect the learning to participants' real work. Practicing an actual executive update, sales presentation, technical explanation, or difficult conversation makes the training immediately relevant—and makes it much more likely that participants will use the skills when they're back on the job.
How do you tailor training to our industry, organization, and learners?
Every iSpeak workshop is tailored to the audience we're teaching. Before each class, we conduct an audience analysis phone call with your team to understand your organization, industry, learners, communication challenges, and goals for the training. Our instructors use that information to make the workshop relevant to the people in the room.
The tailoring continues when class begins. We ask participants what they personally want to get out of the workshop, giving the instructor another opportunity to adjust the emphasis, examples, and discussion to their needs.
We don't charge extra for audience or classroom tailoring. It's part of every iSpeak workshop because we believe understanding who we're teaching is essential to delivering effective training.
Our training needs are unique. Can you create something custom instead of using an off-the-shelf program?
Yes. Sometimes tailoring an existing program is all that's needed, and sometimes the business challenge calls for something built specifically for your organization.
Every iSpeak workshop includes audience and classroom tailoring at no additional charge. But when you need new content, a unique combination of topics, organization-specific scenarios, or a learning experience designed around a particular business challenge, iSpeak can provide content customization for an additional fee.
We won't recommend customization simply for the sake of making something "custom." We'll first determine whether one of our proven programs can be tailored to accomplish your goals. If it can't, we'll work with you to build what you need.
Can we meet the instructor before the workshop?
Absolutely. We understand that the instructor is a big part of the training experience, and you should feel confident about who you're putting in front of your employees.
If you'd like to meet your instructor before the workshop, we're happy to arrange a conversation. It's an opportunity to get to know the instructor, discuss your audience and objectives, and make sure the fit feels right. Your instructor will also be prepared with information from the audience analysis process before walking into the classroom.
Can employees practice using their actual presentations and workplace scenarios?
Yes. In fact, practicing with real work can make communication training significantly more valuable. Participants might work with an upcoming presentation, executive update, customer conversation, technical explanation, or another communication challenge they're actually facing.
Using real-world content helps learners immediately connect the skills they're practicing to their jobs. It also gives instructors an opportunity to provide feedback on situations that matter to participants—not hypothetical exercises they'll never encounter again. The exact approach depends on the program and your organization's needs, so real-world practice can be incorporated when we design the training.
How do I know which communication skills my team needs most?
Start with the moments where communication is getting in the way of results. Are meetings running long because people can't get to the point? Are technical experts overwhelming customers with detail? Are managers struggling to deliver clear messages? Are promising leaders less effective when presenting to senior executives?
You don't need to diagnose the solution before talking with a training provider. A good partner should help you identify the communication behaviors behind the business problem and determine which skills are most likely to make a difference. At iSpeak, that conversation helps us recommend the right training approach rather than simply pointing you toward a course.
Training for Your People
Do you train teams to present to executives?
Yes. Presenting to senior leaders requires a different approach than presenting to many other audiences. Executives typically want presenters to get to the point quickly, focus on what matters to the business, and be prepared to answer questions or adjust direction when the conversation changes.
iSpeak helps professionals organize their thinking, communicate with clarity and confidence, and tailor their message for an executive audience. Training can focus specifically on executive communication or be incorporated into a broader presentation skills program.
Our Presenting to Executives master class focuses specifically on this skill, helping professionals structure their message and handle tough questions with confidence in front of senior leadership
Do you offer communication training for leaders and managers?
Yes. Leaders and managers communicate constantly—setting expectations, giving feedback, leading meetings, navigating difficult conversations, influencing others, and communicating change. Strong communication skills can make each of those interactions more effective.
iSpeak offers communication training designed for both new and experienced leaders. Depending on the need, training can focus on presentation skills, leader presence, influence, storytelling, difficult conversations, or other communication skills that help leaders build trust and move people to action.
Our Presentation Skills for Leaders workshop focuses on this directly, helping leaders communicate with clarity, confidence, and authority.
Do you train technical professionals and subject-matter experts?
Yes. Technical professionals and subject-matter experts often face a unique communication challenge: they know a lot about their subject, but their audience may not need—or understand—the same level of detail.
iSpeak helps technical professionals translate complex information into messages that are clear, concise, and meaningful to the audience without sacrificing accuracy or credibility. Participants learn how to determine what their audience really needs to know, organize complex information, and communicate their expertise in a way that others can understand and act on.
Our Presentation Skills for Engineers workshop is built specifically for this audience, helping technical experts turn complex material into clear, confident presentations.
Can you help teams communicate complex information more clearly?
Yes. Communicating complex information clearly isn't about eliminating important details. It's about identifying which details matter to the audience and organizing them in a way that's easy to understand.
iSpeak teaches practical frameworks that help professionals simplify and structure complex messages while remaining clear, concise, and complete. These skills are especially valuable for teams working with technical information, data, research, recommendations, or other content that needs to be understood by non-experts or decision-makers.
Our Presenting Data Analytics workshop teaches this directly, giving participants a framework for turning data into a clear, audience-ready message.
Do you offer presentation and communication training for sales teams?
Yes. Sales professionals need more than a polished presentation. They need to understand their audience, communicate value clearly, tell compelling stories, respond effectively to questions, and adjust their message as the conversation unfolds.
iSpeak works with sales teams to strengthen both message and delivery. Training can be tailored to real customer conversations and presentations so participants practice skills they can apply directly to prospect meetings, sales presentations, pitches, and other important customer interactions.
Our Presentation Skills for Sales workshop is built around this exact need, helping sales professionals structure and deliver presentations that move a deal forward.
Can you train employees with different levels of experience?
Yes. Corporate training groups often include people with very different levels of communication experience and confidence. Effective training should provide a common foundation while still challenging more experienced communicators.
iSpeak's programs combine practical communication frameworks with individual practice and feedback, allowing participants to work from their own starting point. Less experienced communicators can build essential skills and confidence, while more experienced participants can refine their approach and identify opportunities to become even more effective.
Do you offer training for global and distributed teams?
Yes. iSpeak can support teams working across locations through virtual instructor-led training and other learning options. This allows organizations to develop shared communication skills and frameworks even when employees aren't in the same place.
For global or distributed teams, the right approach depends on factors such as team locations, time zones, group size, learning goals, and whether training will be delivered virtually, in person, or through a combination of formats. iSpeak can work with L&D teams to determine an approach that fits the organization and its learners.
Format & Logistics
Is in-person or virtual communication training more effective?
Both in-person and virtual communication training can be highly effective. The better choice depends on your learners, objectives, group size, schedule, and where your employees are located.
In-person training can be especially valuable when you want a highly interactive experience with extensive practice and feedback. Virtual instructor-led training offers many of the same benefits while making it easier to bring together distributed teams and reduce travel and time away from work. The most important factor isn't simply where the training happens—it's whether participants are actively learning, practicing, receiving feedback, and applying the skills to their work.
What is the ideal class size for communication skills training?
For highly interactive communication training, smaller groups generally provide a better learning experience because every participant needs time to practice and receive meaningful feedback.
The ideal number depends on the program, its length, and the amount of individual practice involved. At iSpeak, our recommended class sizes vary by program. When planning training, we consider both the number of learners you need to reach and the experience you want each participant to have, then recommend a format and group size that supports those goals.
How long should a communication skills workshop be?
Communication training can range from a focused two-hour session to a multi-day workshop or longer learning journey. The right length depends on what participants need to learn and, just as importantly, how much time they need to practice.
A shorter session can work well for a specific skill or topic, while more comprehensive programs provide time for instruction, practice, individual feedback, and repeated application. Rather than starting with a predetermined number of hours, consider the behavior change you're trying to achieve and how much practice will be necessary to get there.
Can you deliver training at our location?
Yes. iSpeak delivers instructor-led communication skills training onsite at client locations, allowing employees to learn and practice together without traveling to an offsite training facility.
Onsite training can be a particularly good option when you're training an intact team or bringing employees together for a meeting, leadership program, sales event, or other company gathering. iSpeak can work with your L&D team to determine the right program, schedule, and setup for your group.
Can you train teams in multiple locations?
Yes. iSpeak works with organizations that have employees across multiple offices, cities, and even countries. Training may be delivered through multiple onsite sessions, virtual instructor-led sessions, or a combination of learning formats.
For larger rollouts, we can work with your L&D team to create a consistent learning experience across groups while accommodating differences in location, scheduling, and audience needs. The right approach will depend on the number of learners, where they're located, and the skills you're trying to develop.
How much does corporate communication training cost?
Pricing depends mainly on delivery format and length. As a general guide: a 2-hour virtual Master Class for up to 30 participants starts at $3,250, a 7-hour Virtual Instructor-Led Workshop starts at $6,250, and in-person workshops range from $7,300 for a single day to $12,700 for two days, plus instructor travel. For an exact quote based on your group size, format, and any customization, request our complete course catalog — it includes full pricing for every program we offer.
What's included when we book an iSpeak workshop?
An iSpeak workshop includes more than the time your instructor spends in the classroom. We take care of the preparation, materials, and details that help create a successful learning experience.
How far in advance should we schedule training?
It's best to schedule corporate training as early as possible, particularly if you have specific dates, locations, or instructor requirements. More lead time also gives your training partner an opportunity to understand your audience, customize the experience when appropriate, and coordinate logistics.
That said, training needs don't always come with months of notice. If you're working with a shorter timeline, it's still worth asking about availability. iSpeak can help determine what's possible based on your dates, program, location, and training needs.
Results & Reinforcement
How do you measure the effectiveness of communication training?
Communication training can be measured with more than participant satisfaction surveys. With the iSpeak AI Communication Coach, organizations can incorporate practice, role-play simulations, assessments, and measurable performance data into the learning experience.
Learners can practice presentations and realistic workplace scenarios, receive immediate feedback and scores on specific communication skills, and practice repeatedly to demonstrate improvement over time. L&D teams can also use cohort-level data to see how learners are progressing and identify areas where additional practice or reinforcement may be needed.
That gives L&D something traditional communication training often can't: hard data to help demonstrate skill development and the value of the training investment. Instead of relying solely on completion rates or post-training surveys, L&D leaders have measurable results they can use to show stakeholders what learners accomplished and build a stronger case for the ROI of communication training.
How much practice and feedback do participants receive?
Communication skills improve through continued practice, not just a great day in the classroom. After instructor-led training, learners need opportunities to apply what they've learned, get feedback, and practice again.
The iSpeak AI Communication Coach extends learning beyond the workshop by giving employees an always-available place to practice presentations, messages, and realistic workplace roleplays. Learners receive immediate feedback and scores on specific communication skills, so they can see where they need to improve, practice again, and track their progress over time.
That continued cycle of practice, feedback, and improvement helps turn what participants learned in training into skills they can use on the job. It also gives L&D teams measurable data on learner progress, providing visibility into what happens after the workshop ends.
How can we scale communication training across our organization?
Scaling communication training requires more than simply scheduling more classes. The goal is to create a consistent approach to communication while still meeting the needs of different roles, teams, and locations.
iSpeak can combine instructor-led workshops, virtual training, and AI-supported practice to help organizations reach larger and distributed audiences. Using shared communication frameworks across these experiences gives employees a common language and set of tools, while different delivery methods allow L&D teams to match the depth and level of support to each audience. This makes it possible to build communication skills across an organization without assuming every employee needs the exact same learning experience.
How do you make communication skills stick after training?
Communication skills stick when people continue to use and practice them after the workshop ends. That's why reinforcement matters. A great workshop can introduce new skills, provide practice, and build confidence, but lasting behavior change happens when learners continue applying those skills back on the job.
iSpeak offers multiple ways to extend learning beyond the classroom, including continued practice with the iSpeak AI Communication Coach. Organizations can also reinforce learning by using common communication frameworks across teams, encouraging managers to coach to the same skills, and giving employees opportunities to practice what they've learned in real workplace situations.
