How do I use AI without sounding robotic?
The fix isn't avoiding AI practice — it's practicing the right way. Sounding robotic usually means someone read a script silently, memorized it word-for-word, and delivered it without ever hearing how it actually lands out loud. The AI Coach should sharpen delivery of your ideas in your words — not hand you a script to recite.
Why it matters: Audiences can tell the difference between someone speaking naturally and someone reciting. Over-scripted, over-rehearsed delivery reads as stiff and disconnected, which undercuts credibility even when the content is strong.
Practical Tips:
- Stand up and say it out loud, every time. Silent read-throughs train a different set of muscles than the ones you'll actually use in front of an audience.
- Make the AI push back. Set it up as a skeptical or rushed audience on purpose — a session with no resistance is a monologue, not practice.
